About

Hi, I'm Tim. Technology leader by day, basketball player by weekend – bridging the gap between business vision and technical reality
I’m a Senior Enterprise Skills Transformation Architect at Amazon Web Services, where I’ve been helping organizations unlock their cloud potential since early 2021. My superpower? Translating complex technical concepts into actionable business outcomes while building the teams that make it all happen.
🏄🏻 What I Do Best
I live at the intersection of people and technology. Whether I’m developing scalable training programs that have upskilled thousands of customers, inventing entirely new job roles within AWS Training & Certification, or implementing cutting-edge security frameworks (like achieving ISO27001 certification as the first hub within Rheinmetall Defence), I’m driven by one thing: empowering others to build amazing things.
My toolkit includes technology leadership, public speaking mastery, and what I call my “builder mentality” – that irrepressible urge to create, improve, and scale solutions that actually work.
🧑💻 My Journey
Before AWS, I wore many hats across the tech landscape: IT consultant, software engineer, technical sales specialist, project manager, strategist, and entrepreneur. I founded companies in mobile app development and learned that the best technology is meaningless without great people to bring it to life.
🏀 Beyond the Code
When I’m not architecting solutions or speaking at tech events, you’ll find me on the basketball court, working on woodwork and DIY projects, enjoying the great outdoors, crushing it at CrossFit, or enjoying life’s simple moments with my family. I’m always eager to connect with fellow builders, leaders, and anyone passionate about using technology to make a positive impact.
📩 Connect
I’m always interested in connecting with like-minded folks. Feel free to reach out:
